Key West Travel Tips
When visiting Key West, Florida, there are various activities you can take part in and places to see. Whether on a vacation or just traveling through, you can find things that can make your day or night more exciting.
When visiting Key West you will have a variety of choices when it comes to night life and bars you can visit, especially on Duval Street. Here you can find Big 'Uns Sports Bar, a popular place for the sports fan. Loaded with 16 HD flat screen TV's to watch whatever sporting events may be on at the time, you will also enjoy interactive boxing, pinball, foosball, playing pool, big-game hunting, an online jukebox, and more.
If sports isn't your thing, you can swing on over to Fat Tuesday for a "Mardi Gras" style party and an original frozen daiquiri. For adult entertainment, dancing, or a night of Rock and Roll, you can slide on down to Rick's/Durty Harry's Entertainment, featuring 10 different bars with 6 different venues.
If karaoke is your thing, then you can go to Front Street in Key West and find the Two Friends Bar, known as the Key West King of Karaoke for over a decade now. Also on Front Street you can find the Hog's Breath Saloon, known for it's live entertainment.
While you are in Key West, you also may want to check out their various venues for saltwater fishing. Charter boats are available and you can also experience deep sea fishing, or just take a small charter to observe the dolphins in their environment, or even take a kayaking trip. The sunset is beautiful in Key West, and you can even go to the Mallory Square Sunset Celebration if your looking for something to do early in the evening. You may also want to consider the Key West Conch Tour Train, which will take you on a 90 minute tour of over 100 sites.
